Through the SPARK Work Experience Program, local businesses are given the opportunity to make a positive impact on the training and development of future generations in the workforce.
Dedicated SPARK Employment Specialists work closely with Work Site Managers to assist in providing our Youth with on-the-job training and development that benefits both the client and the business.
The SPARK Program provides the wages and liability coverage necessary for the Youth to gain skills and valuable work experience through your mentorship and business environment.
Along with monies that are available to assist eligible candidates who are interested in furthering their education in order to increase their marketability in the labor market. Programs range from working towards GED attainment, to industry-specified occupational classroom training to two (2) year Degree Programs and last two (2) years of a Bachelor Degree. Training must be in a high demand occupation. All interested applicants must first apply for all grants prior to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) assistance. All Educational Institutions must have completed and received approval via State Certification Process prior to being utilized.
